My aunt was admitted for a CHF exacerbation with severe, worsening leg pain and edema. Despite ruling out DVT and being unable to get an MRI (aneurysm clip), no CT was ever done to evaluate her leg, and she was discharged “stable” while screaming in pain and unable to walk .Case management planned to send her home alone with no caregiver. Within hours, we called 911 and another hospital found she was STILL in active CHF exacerbation. Dangerous, careless discharge planning with zero communication to our family.

Renovation is nice, but it should have more privacy when giving out important information at emergency desk.
