$12 for parking is absolutely ridiculous. There are PLENTY of other hotels in the area that offer free parking - actually, I fact checked below. Only 1 hotel within a 2 mile radius charges any amount for parking. Take a look. Just a money grab. EDIT in response to “market conditions” Holiday Inn down the road does not charge parking. I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff were welcoming, kind, and always ready to help. I especially appreciated the staff member who spoke another language when it was hard for us to understand English. I didn’t catch her name - believe girl is front office manager, but she was very helpful and made us feel comfortable . The location was great and made it easy to get around. Overall, I had a great experience and would stay here again.
Booked 2 King Rooms well over a month in advance as a Hilton Honors member to arrive and here the hotel was overbooked. We were given a King Accessible Room and a Queen Room. FYI this is a common practice of many hotels to disregard your advanced booking and give your rooms to later bookings at higher rates. This particular hotel also charges $12 per night for vehicle parking even though the lot has more than enough parking.
Do not stay here. Not only does this property lack security cameras, but they will also charge you for parking even if your vehicle is broken into. Tracy is not the safest area, and this Hampton Inn appears to have made little effort to provide a secure and safe environment for guests.
