I recently stayed at this property with my son ahead of his soccer game against a team from State College, and I’m so glad we chose this hotel. I rarely stay at Hampton Inns, but this one absolutely stands out. As a GM of a DoubleTree, I’ve become pretty particular over the years when it comes to hotels, especially post COVID—cleanliness and overall condition are incredibly important for me. Wifi Is horrible, had to use my moble hot spot. (T-Mobile) the suite was very small.
No foam pillows, only shredded that won't hold shape. Only a flat sheet and a thick comforter. Have to turn thermostat up to 74 or more and just use the sheet.)
I have been traveling throughout the month of January and February for business to State College and have stayed consistently at this hotel and will continue to do so for the rest of my business up here. It is in a very convenient location, good parking, friendly service and clean/comfortable rooms. I would stay here even if just for leisure, so this hotel is recommended for any type of trip.
