The rooms are dated but clean, the staff is super friendly, the breakfast is good as far as Hampton Breakfasts go. It would be a 5 but there is a distinct odor of butts and B.O. by the elevator that I can’t get over. Edit: I stayed here again and the smell in the lobby and by the elevators was so overwhelmingly awful I couldn’t eat breakfast. It is seriously rank. I will not be back.
Good place to stay close but free of the city clutter. Easy drive to Maxwell AFB
