If you are booking this hotel because of the hot tub, think twice. It has been broken for the past 4 days! No one seems to know what’s wrong or when it will be fixed.. Breakfast is exactly the same everyday too. Rooms are great.

If you stay is 102 the door latches on it’s own you have to wait outside the room until staff figures out how to open the door. The pool is down half the time call ahead. Pay with cash if you could they keep charging my card.

We stayed at Hampton Inn in Fairbanks twice for a total of five nights in January 2026. We were on an Aurora viewing trip and saw some great activity. We spent three nights at Hampton, then decamped to Borealis Basecamp, came back for two more nights then went home. Services are typical of Hampton, which is why I usually chose this brand first when using Hilton app. Staff was uniformly friendly and helpful, within the limitations of what was broken. This is The second and the last time that I came To this hotel.As Alaskan residence we really awaited for this Family vacation. Chose this hotel because of the location and the swimming pool. So when we came, the swimming pool Was out of service they lied to us that they are working on it , Some of the workers said they already for a few days trying to fix it, which was not true. I rated it one because when you’re waiting for something in a vacation and then you’ve been lied about it it’s even more pissing off.
