Well, did I get an education this weekend. The front-counter staff is fantastic. Very pleasant and helpful. As much as they can... Let me explain. Our room was never cleaned. Never even came in to make a bed or empty the trash. According to the management _and_ Hilton, the new normal is to have to call the desk by 9:30 AM if you want your room cleaned. Family visit. Have stayed in this Hampton Inn before. Great service and clean rooms at this hotel. Good location near shopping. A very good mid-tier hotel and would recommend to others.
We used the Hampton Inn West Bloomfield Novi as our wedding weekend hotel for out-of-town guests, and we (bride and groom) also stayed there. It was the perfect choice! The staff was so friendly and accommodating, the hotel was clean and comfortable, and the complimentary breakfast was a hit—waffles (regular and chocolate!) with whipped cream, eggs, cereal, and more.
