The bedding was scented with a powerful perfume smell. It seems to have been spilled on the top corner of the duvet and leached into the pillows and sheets. There were hairs in the bathtub and shower wall. Bedding was unlaundered and bathroom not cleaned well. The website advertises free parking but I was charged a 5.43 parking fee without notification… just showed up on my visa bill. It was a very unpleasant experience.
Be careful of hidden charges. They say free parking on website yet SNEAK onto billing a $5.00 parking charge, even if you DO NOT HAVE a car. Its just revenue as they HAVE NO GARAGE OR VALET. I live close by and needed a room due to hot water damage at home and there are 2 other Hilton properties at same I-95 interchange that do NOT CHARGE parking. Hotel is dated a bit as well. They will TAKE OFF charge IF YOU PURSUE. CHECK BILL BEFORE
As a long standing Hilton Diamond member quite frankly I was shocked at the condition of this hotel and the guest rooms. The first room I had was next to a generator which made the walls vibrate.i went to reception and they said they were aware of the noise and i could move to another room. The second room was filthy. Apparently this is not exactly a real Hampton Inn but pays to use the Hampton Inn name I think. I thought it seemed strange when the room was dirty and run down. It smelled like the inside of a nursing home that uses powerful chemicals to cover smells. And the floor of my room is actually sticky and the carpet needs to be replaced.
