The hotel has a great location, with shopping, restaurants, bars, family entertainment, and attractions. The hotel also shows its age, last renovation done in 2003, and definitely needs some maintenance. The bathroom door has water damage and the pull-out in the nightstand was broken. Elevators were stuck on the 1st floor for some time, which they seem to have resolved for the time being. Great experience as always with Hampton. Some of our family stays at staybridge by IHG close by and had an awful experience with the room and staff. But this Hampton made up for that with their great staff and rooms. Great location as well. Thanks Hampton Inn we will be back..
Walking distance (10 minute walk) to the Myrtle Beach convention center. Staff were courteous, kind, and the rooms were so comfy! Indoor pool, outdoor pool, a full breakfast every morning. Exceptional location that provides great entertainment for all ages. Really enjoy the atmosphere and the fireworks. Considering coming here again.
The location of this hotel is amazing. Our room was not. The door latch dis not work correctly and a stranger walked right in on us. The ouets were sparking and there were no c outlets. Our room smelled horribly like wet dog. We asked for assistance and they used a heavy air freshener which made it worse. We were told upon checkout when I said something again that they couldn't do anything while we were in the room. The room was vwey dated and worn down the bottom of the bathroom door was splintering.
