Check in was smooth, staff was nice. My ac wasn’t working properly and made a loud noise all night and the room was very muggy. The bed felt wet as well as the carpet. Very uncomfortable to sleep in. I checked in around 1 am after a 7 hour drive with a 19 month old toddler and by the time we settled in, and I put my son to sleep I didn’t want to go back downstairs to complain and change rooms because I’m pretty sure all the rooms were the same.
We stopped here for one night. The room was comfortable. Some of the fixtures are dated or need to be painted or otherwise upgraded. The wifi was very good and the electrical connections are modern. We did not take advantage of the free breakfast.
Exactly what we were looking for! We needed a quick place to crash on the way to the beach and this was the only reasonably priced option within 3 hours of the OBX. Bella who checked us in was so nice and made sure we knew how to maximize our points with the specials on the app. Definitely would stay here again!
It was ok. I was under the impression that Hopewell was nicer than Colonial Heights
Very friendly customer service. The morning breakfast was excellent!
