The best hotel in town!!!
This hotel used to be serviceable - clean and fine. But to say it is swamp-like is an understatement. They set the thermostat to 72 and it is hot and damp. You can cool the room down a bit, but it will not be comfortable. The bathrooms are shabby with the tile popping up so the door will not easily close over it. If you need to stay a night, you can make it work. Any longer is miserable.
We stayed in room 101 about 2 weeks ago. Yikes! It was in bad need of refurbishment. The carpet tiles were loose and coming up, the finishes were worn out, it was dirty in the corners, rusty chrome in the bath/shower...and oddly..all of the wall fixtures (towel racks, artwork, mirrors) were installed and glued up crooked. Did this place have a flood and an earthquake? The staff was friendly. But sorry...will avoid this location in future roadtrips!
