I don't typically write reviews but I felt like like this needed some attention. I travel quite a bit with a nonprofit organization. I like to stay in the Hampton Inn's as they are generally clean and the customer service is fantastic. This was going to be my first time in Covington. Flying from Dallas, on Friday Sept 19th, I was caught in the national flight cancellations and delays. I wasn't able to make my reservation. I've stayed at this location several times. Rooms are spacious and clean. Attentive staff and complimentary breakfast is very good. Plenty of parking and location is great!
I have to say, I'm impressed with this little place. Rooms are looking a little outdated and it's damp BUT they're actively renovating and the staff and service has been absolutely wonderful. When we come to town, we usually spend our time between Mandeville, Abita, and New Orleans so it's a perfect location near it all. I'd definitely come back.
Everyone was very helpful and friendly! Especially Chip!
Fantastic team. Chip ran the front desk and was so accommodating. Room was good and the breakfast was awesome.
