I’ve stayed at this location for the past 10 weeks, and it’s been a great experience. The hotel is centrally located, and they have been working to completely renovate the l building. The updated rooms and public spaces look great, and they should be done next month. The staff are what really make this location stand out. Everyone has been incredibly friendly and helpful, even offering to help do my laundry when I couldn’t make it home one weekend! Danyl and Barel and all the other staff I can’t name are great people. We had a very disappointing experience staying at the Hampton Inn Chicago/Gurnee. We decided to spend the weekend in Gurnee for a vacation, but our plans were interrupted and essentially ruined. We had checked in and carried our belongings into the room, and decided to explore the rest of what the hotel offered. Upon returning to our room, our key cards would not work, and we were unable to get back inside the room. Our car keys and wallets were inside the room, not allowing us to leave the premises. My husband and I walked in to book a room and was greeted by the sweetest manager my apologies for not remembering her name. We book a king size room that was very spacious and comfortable I believe it’s newly remodeled. They offered complimentary breakfast and had great options 🧇🥯 I definitely recommend a stay there and will most certainly be staying there the next time I visit.

Horrible there working on the building front inside and the outside and I wasn’t able to get any sleep ! Horrible do not stay here while they are looking on the building the workers are loud etc …. It was so bad I checked out early
