This hotel is currently under maintenance for what smells like a recent water or roof leak. We originally booked the 3rd floor, which contained wood palettes, tools and buckets in the hallway. The room smelled of terrible chemicals, paint or flooring adhesive. We returned to the front desk to ask for another room. When I mentioned the reason, the two front desk attendants said “it shouldn’t” and “do you have to be in a room with two beds?”. Which I feel is fairly unprofessional behavior. Not our typical experience at a Hampton Inn. Pool was closed. Outdated. Hair in the tub.
A great experience! On checking in the process was fast and friendly even with a minor hiccup with my reservation it still went pretty smoothly. I ALWAYS inspect the room to make sure I don’t have to request another room because of the condition. The room was great, clean sheets, bathroom was spotless. The breakfast was free and basic; eggs, potatos, sausage, waffles and cereal. I would go back again
