Did the job. Offered everything they promised. Not overrun by cheer kids and parents.
A quick weekend stay with no real issues as this property is finishing up a renovation of it. Room was very clean when we arrived, plenty of space in the room, did not hear any highway noise despite being very close to it, and the breakfast had a good amount of options to choose from each morning. Staff was very good and accommodating. Location is easy to get to off of I-70. Would definitely stay here again.
Close to I70 for those just passing through. For those exploring, it is only 6 minutes from the National Historic Museum of Cambridge Glass - it sounds weird and uninteresting, and their website doesn't help with that image, but the museum is SO worth the $6 price of admission! The museum is reason enough to stay at this hotel. Its noisy here because of the highway and the view is not good. We had a wonderful time at the Hampton in Cambridge Ohio, very clean and spacious room. As always, love the Hampton beds, shampoo/conditioner/shower soap and hand soap provided, along with extra pillow and blanket. The location is perfect, near Salt Fork Lake and nearby restaurants. Can't wait to go back when the pool area is open, will be nice to have an outdoor area for hanging out. Breakfast was fresh and yummy! Loved the view from our room. Thanks!
I am not sure who would review this place at 5 stars. Firstly, the whole place smells like mold/mildew. There was visible dirt and hair in my bathroom. Surfaces had cup marks and were clearly not wiped. They do not refresh/clean rooms daily. I messaged for extra towels and received no response after over an hour and a few messages. Upon going to the front desk, I found that the attendant was in the back (clearly watching YouTube or similar) and had not checked the hotel messages.
