Was not sure how to rate this hotel. The rooms are modern, clean and well laid out but the AC unit is very loud. The hotel property is also very nice and everyone working here was great. The breakfast was perfectly acceptable for what it was. The location is also great. The main problem is that you can hear everything the person in the next room is doing. I heard the persons alarm go off, I heard them go to the bathroom and every phone conversation they had. I am not sure if this is because the rooms have doors between them ... read more

We stayed here last weekend and it was our first vacation in Elkins and WV in general. I liked the hotel and the location/view. However I can't give this a good review. Over a three night stay room service never set foot in our room. We ran out of towels by the second night and my wife had to bring up a load on our own when she took the dog out. It was frustrating because I had asked the hospitality person that afternoon before we left for more towels and a room clean. When I told the manager at checkout the next morning, sh... read more
