I wasn't ready to hear Darla, our 9 year old Mastiff has cancer. Nobody wants to hear that news. However, I was very pleased with the way everything was handled that day. We met with Dr. Hynson. She examined Darla and went over everything with us. We didn't feel pressured or trapped to do the things she recommended. She gave us options and everything was very thorough. The vet was fine but the prices are a bit higher than our normal vet (Manchester Vet). We’re always paid approximately $400 for both of our dogs to be fully vaccinated (I called to confirm 1 dog was $186 and the other was $189) . We got the same shots as normal but the total charge was $623. The only difference on the statements being a 4DX heart worm/lyme test. *EDIT* to add- the additional test was $56/pet. Dr Megan Weaver is absolutely the best Vet . She is so great with our Ruger. The staff is great as well. Highly recommend Hampstead Vet
