DO NOT LIVE HERE. Especially as a renter. I lived here for 3 years, have never lived in such an awful place, from building issues, to horrible HOA and building management. Criminal.
I don't live here, but I looked at several For-Sale units and have some thoughts on the community. Pros: 1) Inexpensive homes available. 2) Street parking available. 3) Retro feel in the clubhouse. Cons: 1) ROACH INFESTATION!!!! One of the units I viewed had roaches, which means the entire building may have them. 2) HOA (West Star Management) fees are $500+ per month, but it appears that HOA/Management don't use that money to update the building, or at the bare minimum replace damaged carpeting because the salmon-colored car... read more
This place was nice, in the beginning when we moved in, in 2021. I loved my landlords so it pains me to have to write this review because I don't want them to suffer, it's not their fault. I hope that in the end, they will benefit once the HOA and it's board members gets, if ever, a decent management company and gets rid of the board members who don't do their jobs, but now this place is horrible because they got rid of the only decent management company they had. Run down, dirty, roach and mice infested. Run...don't walk away. Hot tub and pool closed by city...weight room smells of mold. Horrible place.
