It's an annual tradition in Baltimore. An entire block of residents decorate their homes to the point where they can be seen from outer space, and the block is closed to through traffic so pedestrians can move about safely. On some nights, pop-up vendors will be there with hot beverages, and frequently you'll encounter Santa on his tricked-out sleigh/motorcycle. Parking is mostly street-only, so be prepared to cruise the area to find a spot. And have fun!

Beautiful to see. Be prepared to park some distance away and walk. The avenue has lots of shops and places to eat on the way.
