I had a no crank, no start issue on my 2010 Fleetwood Discovery 40X diesel pusher. Cummins said there is a 4 month back order on the $800.00 replacement. I called around and found Hammonds Bro through another electric motor rebuilder. Pulled my starter and brought it to them about noon on Monday. Monday afternoon I was told $150.00 to change both solenoids and the starter itself was good. Tuesday afternoon I was able to pick it up and install it. My RV started right up. I took them a 43 year old Volvo-Penta alternator from an old boat. I spoke to Jason and told him I wasn't in any rush. 2 days later received a call that my alternator was ready and there was no need for a rebuild. When I picked it up, he refused any payment for their diagnostic services, even after I insisted. He just asked that I pay it forward. I wish I had a reason to give them my money. :)
