I selected Hammond Care as it appeared to be a larger organisation. The only issue is this is not reflective of the Canberra region. They only have Telehealth options for some services which is not ideal. They are extremely hard to get through to with all calls having to go through their main line and you end up on call waiting for 30-60mins every time. My husband was granted a Home Care package and is managed by HammondCare At Home ACT. His Case Manager Kathy Taylor has been fantastic and nothing is too big or too difficult for her to organise to provide optimal services for us. She has been a real gem and we couldn't ask for a better Case Manager. Thank you Kathy. WE really appreciate all the assistance given to us.

I have had the pleasure of working for HammondCare for over 2 years, with my career at this organisation starting as a Care Worker. Care Workers are treated with respect, and given opportunity to come forward to discuss any concerns they may be facing in the workplace. Care Workers are supported by the Care Team Manager daily and also have access to the Employee Assistance Program.
