I am a new resident of Hammond Elderly Apts. Recently my car keys were lost and the nearest replacement was in Michigan City with my son who was on duty Fireman. When I reported the loss to building manager, right away she offered a new set of keys to be cut. But I keep apartment keys on separate ring. Feeling dumb and defeated I went back to my unit. I’ve been at Hammond Elderly apartments for over 1.5 years now. My husband and I love it here. The staff are amazing and the maintenance people are extremely competent. Mr. Harris the Service coordinator is all about the residents making sure they have what they need. We have fun here, gardening, art classes and we celebrate all holidays. We also have an exercise room and laundry on each floor. Kophe is the manager and she does a terrific job. She’s been here over 15 years.
