Dr Prem is my primary care for many years and handles my thyroid problem, diabetes and high cholesterol. She does not make small talk but gets right to the point. I often communicate via mychart and her office gets back to me in a timely manner.
I always have good experiences with Dr. Prem, I highly recommend her.
If you are looking for a good, empathetic, caring, and professional doctor with amazing ethics.......do not look for that in Mary Prem. She is none of the above, she is rude dismissive and cold. Mary has no business being a doctor. Shame on fransiscan for allowing her to treat patients the way she does. Choosing Mary Prem as my PCP was the biggest mistake ever. As an RN I am terrified that this woman has a medical license. She treated my mom so poorly when she was her patient. My mom had a goiter in her throat (symptom of thyroid disease) and uncontrolled high blood pressure. She was constantly made to feel as if she had anxiety and wasn’t even given the proper care when she went in with super high blood pressure and chest pain. I had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Mary Prem. I came in seeking help and reassurance, but I felt dismissed and unheard. The doctor showed little empathy and seemed uninterested in addressing my concerns. Rather than listening to my symptoms, they appeared to rush through the appointment, and I left feeling frustrated and anxious about my health.
