I've known Billy the owner of Hammer Lane Smog for 7 years. Billy and Manuel both are pretty lay back type of dude. Been doing business with them every other year. They will tell me to run my car on HW99 to Lodi and back at 65mph to heat up my catalytic converter. They give me tips and also tell me what is really wrong with my car and what i should do to get it fix and not like other smog shop who just wont tell u what went wrong.
My debit card started to show charges I did not make (adult products and things like that) two days after using it at this shop - Hammer Lane Smog Station. The merchant, a 30-something balding Indian or middle eastern guy, had "trouble" charging my card and had to type the numbers manually 4 times before the transaction went through. Another merchant came over to "help" and they both got a good look at my card number and expiration date.
