Ordered a generic generator from Lowes Hammer electric installed the generator has a 7 year warranty and included after one year free check up . Called for the check up never returned my call . Called Lowe's got me connected to Hammer electric asked for help with one year check up said we don't do that so I emailed copies that wasin the contract said I will check and get back to you two months still nothing. I am working(or trying to work) with Hammer Electric to get a generator installed. They dropped off the generator and then needed permits. Now over 2 months after I got the permit approved, after that's what they were supposed to do. I'm waiting for installation. I've called several times, left numerous voicemails and no one has gotten back to me. Javier is very pleasant to communicate with and did a clean professional job. He had to put a ground wire in my electrical box. Would recommend him for any future repairs.
I've been using Hammer Electric for years, and they've never let me down. Today's call was an emergency after all my wired-in smoke detectors started going off for no apparent reason. I managed to figure out which one was malfunctioning and got it down to stop the screeching,, but obviously I needed to get it replaced.
