after 3 months, I've recovered the nearly $5,000 I was overcharged. this, after I put in 3 days of cleanup after they left my house in shambles. thank god we hadn't moved in yet. (photos are of the dust they left). they quoted a 2 day job...ended up taking 10 days and more than quoted price. things happen, I get it...but at no point did they say why or how long the delay was happening. I do not recommend this business.
I am working(or trying to work) with Hammer Electric to get a generator installed. They dropped off the generator and then needed permits. Now over 2 months after I got the permit approved, after that's what they were supposed to do. I'm waiting for installation. I've called several times, left numerous voicemails and no one has gotten back to me. So now here I am with a generator that is currently a hunk of junk and could have come in mighty useful with that nor'easter we just had. I had more than one installation date that... read more
I've been using Hammer Electric for years, and they've never let me down. Today's call was an emergency after all my wired-in smoke detectors started going off for no apparent reason. I managed to figure out which one was malfunctioning and got it down to stop the screeching,, but obviously I needed to get it replaced. I was very happy with the service I received from the technician who came, Kevin Flores. He was clearly very knowledgeable and thorough as well as personable, and easy to communicate with. The people with whom I spoke in the office were equally helpful, friendly and pleasant ... which can be a rarity these days. Two thumbs up for Hammer Electric!
