I have been going to Hammer Automotive for 15 years. They are knowledgeable and fair. I have never been disappointed with their work or their prices. The Hammer men have been there when my car was on the fritz and for maintenance. I am fortunate to have mechanics that I can count on and who have educated me about car care. I highly recommend them to everyone.
A diamond in the rough!!! Far and above the best experience I've ever had with a mechanic and auto shop! Brad is extremely knowledgable and even took the time to explain what he was doing and importance of it. He gave me advice on what he felt I needed done next oil change and reason behind it. Brad is a mechanical prodigy. One of the most clever and knowledgeable mechanics I've encountered.
Quick work, professional, knowledgeable and took good care of me while I sat and wait. Highly recommended.
A great place if you want to get completely ripped off – There are a whole bunch of other truck and trailer shops that can do work cheaper and with far less shenanigans. I've used this repair shop a couple of times in the past and, while not cheap, their prices were okay. (Okay enough to not really propel me to find another place.) Boy, did I get unbelievably hosed this last (and I do mean last in every sense of the word) time. Beware, complete rip off shop. They do not tell you that they are going to charge extra for services that they never disclosed on the estimate. Also, there are truck and trailer shops out there that charge far less and have much higher ethics. Do a Google search on Hammer.
