After months of treatment, I’d gotten nowhere. I strongly recommend researching your options beforehand and asking her questions about her treatment approach instead of letting her drill you with questions and make assumptions on your first visit. Don’t let the PhD after her last name fool you. She is adept at victim blaming, shaming, and acted judgmental on more times than I can count. I saw her for a while, but just wasn't getting anywhere. Her focus was more on diagnosing me and encouraging me to go on meds, than helping me with the problems I was having at the time, validating my feelings (or helping me learn how to validate myself). Also, it turns out I'm a victim of Narcissism, something she didn't pick up on. It would have been incredibly helpful so I could begin a long overdue healing process.
