I was referred here by my family doctor for a vascular ultrasound of my leg. He marked it as urgent and the clinic called me the next business day. The clinic was able to get me in that afternoon. Response was fast and availability was very good. The clinic was easy to get to in the large medical building. Check in was simply standard with only needing a health card. Booking was a smooth process. Front desk staff were amazing… but the technician needs to forewarn a patient if they are about to squeeze the calf muscle hard with their hand or apply deep pressure with the ultrasound scanner as it was very painful…..and not to make excuses when the patient asks politely to please give them warning the next time they were about to do so. On two previous venous ultrasound tests at this clinic with a different technician this was not an issue. The technician in fact was excellent.
I first met Susan Myers, who is the Venous Care Program Co-Ordinator from One Vascular Hamilton, when I came in for my follow up to my ultrasound test. From the first meeting she explained in caring detail everything I was about to experience for my upcoming EVLT procedure and managed my expectations. I had a great experience. My appointment was booked quickly and I was seen on time. The staff were friendly and informative. It's a very clean and newly renovated office. I recommend this lab.
The female ultrasound tech was dismissive, prissy and rude. I practically begged her to look at the spots where the pain was. She wouldn’t even look at the areas I was having pain in, and guess what, they found a blood clot in those spots in the ER. Will 100% be submitting a complaint to the governing body to have her negligence addresses.
