I took my little Chihuahua since she was having troubles breathing, it has happened once before, out of the blue, the veterinarian ask if the little dog has swallowed a sock, which is stupid, since a dog as little as her would die if she even tried, They requested to keep it overnight at a cost of $500.00 to which I declined the offer, soon later they told me that my dog had a stomach cancer, and when I ask the veterinarian what was her recommendations, she told me that euthanasia because the dog was suffering. Our French Bulldog puppy, Kiwi, had an emergency, so we went to the Hamilton Region Emergency Veterinary Clinic for the first time — and I’m so grateful we did. From the moment we walked in, the staff was amazing. They were upfront about the costs, which helped ease our stress, and every single person we met showed so much compassion and care. Our dog was showing signs of a potential seizure later in the evening. Hamilton EVC was able to see him immediately. Staff and the Vet were very professional, caring as well as reassuring. Hopefully we dont need to come back but if we do i know he is in great hands. Thank you Team !!
It's taken me a while to write this review as I've been grieving the loss of our pet, but the staff at this clinic deserve so much praise. We brought our cat to this location in an emergency late one night and he ended up passing away. I was an emotional wreck but the staff were so compassionate, patient, and kind. They treated our sweet boy Emilio with love and dignity as they tried to save his life and for them I am so thankful. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Everyone was so nice and calming here, during a stressful situation that’s what you need. I felt my dog was truly in the best care. Thank you Dr. Sayed, Michael and Abby for taking such great care of my dog!
