Everything about Hamilton Psychology is incredibly well run. The booking process is simple and appointment reminders/confirmations are so helpful. It is a beautiful, welcoming environment and the reception team are friendly and thoughtful. I have seen Dr Ea Stewart for years and she is one of the most passionate and intelligent people I have ever met. Understandably, it seems people are apprehensive to share reviews of this medical facility. The office has been updated recently. It's situated on Racecourse Road above shops and cafes with a car park on site or street. There are bus stops and ferry terminal nearby. The office itself is clean, modern, comfortable with an accessible toilet (no weird codes or corners to navigate) and has complimentary tea and coffee available. Every staff member I interact with here is wonderfully kind and professional. Of course a shoutout to Dr Vanessa Bruce, best in the game of changing lives. Difficult to recommend to my friends because it would be weird sharing a therapist, so I have to recommend it online.
I have been attending the clinic for several years now as I need ongoing support for an ABI as well as a late diagnosis of bipolar. The monthly appointments have resulted in a sustained improvement in my quality of life. I have found both the psychologists and the receptionists to be professional and supportive.
Do not go to this place for Trauma. The Psychologists are completely out of touch with the scope of Mental Health. This is a glorified clinic that only wants your money. Very Unprofessional. Made me pay for appointment I had not yet attended, Had all my paperwork and referral and after I made the payment which was the day before my six month wait appointment. Was told by the receptionist the psychologist thinks she can't help me because this psychologist doesn't see the correlation of psychosis (extreme mental illness) and T... read more
