Can't ask for water. 40 degrees outside and told I can't grab a cup of pre poured water. "ring for a nurse." So we did. 1 hour later the nurse showed up, annoyed. 45 minutes later a cup of water was delivered. That's almost 2 hours. Then my mother needed to go to the washroom. Told no. Ring again as you can only ask for 1 request at a time. Another 30 mins a nurse came with eye rolls to help my mom go to the washroom. Then my mom asked her for pain meds. Told no, only 1 request. I rarely leave reviews, but after seeing the conditions and level of care being provided to my family, I feel compelled to share my experience… This facility appears to be less of a rehabilitation or recovery centre and more of a holding place for patients waiting for long-term accommodations. Unfortunately, that raises serious concerns when individuals recovering from major surgeries (or even still waiting for surgeries they desperately need) are being sent here instead of receiving the level of medical care and rehabilitat... read more

After spending a week at Hamilton General, coming here was a positive experience. Staff is friendly, listen to you and even advocates for my accommodation needs. The place is weird, it is a hotel converted into a hospital, no peaceful outdoor space for fresh air, but they keep it clean, organized. It is a better experience than Hamilton general.

Gotta be kidding. My mom was moved here waiting for LTC. Worst place ever. Feels like an insane asylum..think Jack Nicholson, one flew over the cookoos nest. Can't get in..without security..AND..cannot get out. They will chase you..I saw a security guard stop a poor woman coming off the elevator. Parking is a complete joke. Nurses are sparse, staff know it's stupid and confusing, but just shrug their shoulders. I am not happy.
