I would like to retract my good review below from my old account (whitnejn). At first I was very satisfied with our fence but as time as gone on my assessment has gone down hill. First of all the owner is not living up to his warranty. When we have called about problems he never returns the call or makes appointments he doesn't show up to. My husband even had an appointment to speak to him about expanding the fence and he didn't show up for that either, after my husband arranged to be home from work. Initial assessment was a couple months ago so we could get a pricing idea. 7 months later, we called back, and Chet was out the next day. Same price, GREAT deal, and our fence was completed in less than a week. GORGEOUS and quality material. So nice to finally have privacy and security when we want to enjoy the outside in our own yard. Recommend to all who plan to add/update/repair a fence!

I got several estimates for my large backyard fence job. Mr. Hamilton was well-prepared and had a wide array of choices and display examples. He explained many details that the other people didn't bother to cover. The price was very reasonable among the various estimates. The work was done on time and around my scheduling issues. During the job, it was no problem reaching Mr. Hamilton when I had questions or concerns and they were dealt with immediately. We had Hamilton Fence Company build our fence in late 2010. I have had nothing but problems dealing with the owner. I had boards seperating from the post within months of the installation. The back side of our fence is leaning and the back access gate does not even latch close anymore. I have tried to contact Hamilton's office but either the girls in the office are rude and never have the owner call back or I have to leave a message which is not returned. I would only wish this contractor on my worst enemy! All the poor reviews tell the same and accurate story - when they get your money you dont hear from them. It is impossible to get in touch with the owner, either the girls in the office are completely incompetent or the owner is an absolute idiot. The owner didn't show up to multiple appointments and would blamed it on the girls in the office. I chose Hamilton Fence to install a $10,000 aluminum fence job (Summer 2010), and have been extremely disappointed with Chet Hamilton's overall handling of his work. I am in total agreement with the first review on this page. It has been six weeks since the owner received payment in full from me (my family's mistake because I took him at his word and a handshake) and my fencing job is still not complete. Hamilton fence put our fence in early this summer. I interviewed 5 fence companies before making a decision. Hamilton fence had the best product, best customer service and was most willing to work with my time requirements and budget. The owner Chet personally came to my house on multiple occasions both before and after the project to ensure our satisfaction. Chet Hamilton, the owner of Hamilton Fence Company is a charismatic gentleman. His bid was very reasonable. When materials were not available, he upgraded all my materials FOR FREE and everything was done ON TIME! The workers were very conscientious and made sure everything was going as expected all through the process. I had previously posted a review warning people of this company. Since the posting of that review, the owner has contacted me in an attempt to fix my problems. He explained to me that there were some extraordinary circumstances that were beyond his control that lead to the issues at the time of my fence installation. He had offered to refund my money (which I declined) or fix any of the outstanding problems. He supplied me with replacement fence panels for future repair use at my request.
