Had an odd encounter with the owner. His store wasn't open but, without my prompting, came out to give me "30 seconds". I asked a question about purchasing a tool for removing watch links myself. Youtube made it seem done rather simply, but I wasn't convinced. Asking about this was quite the faux pas apparently! He seemed quite upset that I would even ask - pretty well chased me away and told not to come back! Luckily, another watchmaker that I have gone to for repairs in the past works nearby. Excellent service from a St. John's institution.
Excellent service. Chris was very helpful when I needed some links removed from a tennis bracelet. He also resized a ring for me. Both were done in a timely fashion and for a reasonable price. Highly recommend!!
Never, ever, again. The worst experience I've ever had with a business, hands down. Go elsewhere, anywhere else. Would give a zero, but it's not an option.
