East Brunswick Family Practice have been my doctors for 20 years. Up until 6 years ago or so after Toby Geller left. I loved going here. I loved all the doctors and staff. Recently though this has NOT been the case. When I tested positive I tried to leave a doctors appointment and was unable to. ever since Dr Toby Geller left the practice it has gone straight down the tubes. Be very careful about doing any business with this establishment a wellness check that is supposed to be paid for 100% by your insurance they have figured out ways to get money out of your pocket through this simple act. they are not knowledgeable nor are they compassionate You are just a number there is no warm family feeling in this establishment any longer. RecommendedI have had a pretty tough year as far as Illnesses with my daughter and surgery for myself. I feel that just a review doesn’t do justice for what the staff here has done for me. They have squeezed me in, gone above and beyond, jumped through hoops to help our family. Dr. Merkle, Dr. Amendalora, Sarah, Tara, Jodi, Hunter, Tracy, I mean really everyone has been so amazing. Dr Thomas has been with both my kids since they were born. She is wonderful with them and will call me back even in the middle of the night with a sick kid. She doesn't push antibiotics when they aren't needed.
RecommendedI've known Dr. Merkle for about 15-16 years and have been his patient for about 11 of them. He is one of the most genuine, caring, sweet hearted, down to earth doctors I have come across in a long time. He is very smart, intelligent and has a great bedside manner with his patients. RecommendedI haven’t met with Dr. Jeffrey Merkle yet, but I’ve spoke to several Hackettstown residents. They spoke highly of him and mentioned nothing but great things. When I walked into the office, Jessica (medical assistant) took care of me right away and she got me situated on my son’s first appointment for October.
