Lovely setting on well-kept grounds, with beautiful fall colors. 3 stayed in Meadow Cottage and 2 of our party stayed in the main house in Devon Suite. Very clean and lovely with great character and historic treasures everywhere! The breakfast was excellent and very generous with great bottomless coffee. We also ordered the charcuterie tray and wine before arrival and was in our refrigerator upon arrival. We had a great wine party on our porch the first night. A charming old house tucked away on a wooded hill in a small very nice development just off Rt. 1. We stayed Friday and Saturday night in the Inverness Master Bedroom. This second floor room was very comfortable and had a large private balcony overlooking the front drive and koi pond. Wifey loved it and that's what mattered most. The bed was very comfortable with top of the line sheets and the towels in the bathroom were thick and plush; something I well appreciate. We stayed in the Carriage House, a self-catered cottage on the property and it was glorious! So charming, peaceful, and fully stocked with everything we needed for 10 days. Ashley was quick to respond to our inquiries and a gracious host. We would love to stay again on a future visit.
WORST phone service EVER. Can not emphasize this enough.
Me, My husband and Dog had an absolutely lovely stay over the July 4th weekend from the thoughtful touches, the delicious two course breakfast in the morning and stunning home & surrounding area and of course Ashley & Glenn themselves for being so welcoming! We felt right at home in the beautiful B&B and spend our stays playing pool, walking/swimming in the near by creek, antique shopping and eating out at the recommended restaurants.
