They supposedly rebuilt a transmission for me which turned out to be a buckle of bolts, I called the owner three days after we installed it trying to call his attention about having the same noises and hard shifting, I asked him to look into it and he said "what you want me to do ? we did everything we have to do, you must have other problems. Well we didn't, we removed the transmission and took it for inspections and the repair was quoted $2500 to fix it again so we just replaced for another one to keep the vehicle moving. ... read more

We've been using Halton Gear for almost 20 years, and have had enjoyed an excellent relationship with them. They do all of our transmission and differential work, on mediums and heavies, always with quality and in a timely manner. John and Nick take the time to explain the repairs required, and recommend the 'best way' to proceed.
