Awful service. Comically bad. Got a call today while I was traveling that they could not deliver fuel because my dogs were in the yard. My dogs are at a boarding facility. I guess any excuse not to show up is as good as any other.
I am not sure what the fuss is about: Halstead Quinn have been entirely reliable in delivering gas to our house for ten years now. Recently they moved the gas line when we relocated our generator. Again, no problem.
I would not recommend you do business with Halstead Quinn under ANY circumstances. In case the other online reviews left you doubtful as to their incompetence, allow me to add my two cents/horror story. Earlier this year I purchased a house where HQ provided propane service – there was one 60-gallon tank rented from the company and three 120-gallon tanks that I OWN that they fill. Avoid this business at all costs. They are so rude, make mistakes in billing, make promises they do not keep, pretend to do "leak tests" they never perform, call and harass after making mistakes. They used to be a good company. I don't know what happened.
Minus 5 Stars...Rude Service folks, they do not take care of long time service customers, have to be constantly reminded of several missed delivery dates, make delivery promises they do not keep, then claim you were never even on their list, and want to argue with you when questioned. They will hang up on you, and are extremly unprofessional, and miss several delivery attempts and break all delivery promises. The employees are rude and not helpful. The prices are not competitive and the service is lousy. If your looking for a propane company look elsewhere
