Excellent teaching for those older riders wanting to handle their fears.
I took lessons there a while ago. Instructor was nice but always forgot me. I was assigned a horse named annie but got put on 2 different horses. One named frosty and one named lefty. She also didnt communicate with my parents about literally anything. That is why we left. I only got to walk and trot before we left because she didnt communicate and always forgot me.
We were in town, and my grandparents booked me a lesson here. For backround, I have 5+ years of experience in the English Saddleseat national ring, so I do know what I'm doing for the most part. We called day of, and they were very accommodating, and allowed me to ride that day. I got to ride Warrior, who was super fun, but also gave me some challenges and I ended up learning a lot. The horses are well cared for, well loved, and T was amazing!!
My daughter just turned 10 and has enjoyed trail rides I have taken her on such as Fort Worth stock yards. (Nose to tail trained horses). Recently I had her in Santa Fe NM where we went on a ride with some real horses. She did very well and I decided to find a place she could learn that horses are magnificent animals. Tonya is that place. We came for a simple meet and greet where I could show my daughter the other side of horses, taking care of, saddle your own horse.
