I cannot un-recommend this company enough. I purchased a Halo Collar for a total of $588.88, plus the additional $14.99 monthly subscription. At checkout, delivery was advertised as 2–4 business days. According to FedEx, business days even include weekends. Then the delivery date changed to May 8th — already 7 days after the original shipping date. On May 3rd, the package arrived in the next town over from me. Since then? It has sat there. Buyer Beware: If you have any love for your dog, DO NOT buy the HALO Collar we did. It has now traumatized and confused our puppy by giving her all the levels of correction (including zapping) for breaching the fence FOR NO REASON! And it never stopped! Our puppy had never even left the fence! In fact, she was next to me in the breezeway of the house, which within the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth area which it should be able to use to determine location, and it still got it wrong! For all those dog lovers out there, my wife and I invested in Halo Collar for our dogs several years back, I can honestly say I am so grateful I did. We have 2 dogs and have invested in a wired invisible fence in the past. The wired fence worked great; however, the flexibility you get with the Halo Collar is so much better. We travel constantly to my parents and my in laws with the dogs and the freedom to set up a remote fence at each location makes life so much easier. I have had Halo collars for a while now and have always been taken care of when an issue arose. But I got a second collar a year and a half ago and now the gps is not tracking and not receiving a good signal. Their response was sorry you can get a new collar for $500. Ill be getting a Sport dog training collar.
Originally I wrote a bad review as I had 2 faulty collars. Someone reached out and has attempted to make it right. I am giving the halo 5 a try. I will give them another shot as customer service means a lot to me.
