BIZARRE experience coming in here. I’m giving two stars because of the historical factor and what Hallet’s might be under the right owner. It’s too bad, because it could be an utterly charming old fashioned soda fountain. Current owner has the family ties but that’s about it. Just read his reactions to other negative reviews for an idea what I mean …
Heard the store was reopened, right on 6A , S. Yarmouth.. Charlie the owner was friendly. The store was like stepping back in time. We ordered a turkey sandwich and a chocolate frappe, liquid ice-cream in a glass. Both were deliceous! We highly recommend to anyone to stop in for lunch or an old fashioned ice cream soda or a root beer float.
Classic and historic sandwich places with it's own homemade beverages. Features good food at a fair price.
Good old faashioned soda! A real old timey feel. Can also buy some of their famous clam chowder. Big cans, enough for an appitizer at a family event.
