I have t been to the emergency Ward I a long time. Possibly quite a few years. Very young staff in there however. They showed empathy patience and were more concerned about my comfort and well being than I even expected. It literally was a flawless experience. From start to finish. I had to wind up going on a second time the to some complications with an infection I currently have. Brought me right in. There was no wait time. I came in yesterday for my feet swelling and hurting to walk on, I’ve had a sore throat and body aches but never like that. I went to advent health (our go to always) first for them to not even bother to actually do anything so I came to Halifax instead. They were very nice, quick, and informative. They gave me medicine for my sore throat and congestion, AND actually gave me an answer for my feet. Thank you so much and the nurse had the same first name as me lol.
Was in from out of town and had severe pain from a kidney stone. Entire team was amazing.
Dr. C. Cortes and the nurses and team working with him today were absolutely Great and set the standard as far as examples go in patient care. He is one of the very few doctors. I’ve met in my life who sat down and went over everything with me in great detail and explaining how everything works with why I came. He did not just give me some meds and say this will make you feel better he explained to me why things were the way they were
