Non-compassionate makes patients lose hope after all we’re just a number and you just want our blood for your statics. Do you know we are people right !? and we have feelings, right?
Such a great team of doctors! Prayers and special thanks to Dr Devares in oncology who got everything organized for my dad. Dr. Alvarez in radiology and Dr Bianchi who put in his infusion port. All these doctors communicate often about dad’s care and are on the same page with his treatment. They are very quick to get him in for any necessary infusions to help him get thru this. A special shout out to nurse Kim who has been very supportive with all my questions and concerns.
I can't stress enough how the doctors and nursing staff were professional, knowledgeable and personable. Facility was clean and spacious. I honestly feel I received the best treatment possible,
Having the best care and my chemo was done from double mastectomy in 2007, apparently cancer wasn't done with me. This time it's latched onto my vocal cord. Beginning this treatment with same amazing staff, plus a few new ones, and now in Port Orange practically within walking distance! I need 7 more years and know they'll come thru for me. They're ALL the absolute best in every way!!
The Radiation Treatments The radiation treatments are continuing. It’s tough being put in a pretzel and being still for 20 minutes. But I will say this the people at Halifax Cancer Center for Hope are the best. They are kind and caring and I can’t say enough of their wonderful staff. Dr. Alverez’s and the staff front to back they make you feel that you are part of their family. Whatever happens I will always be grateful to them. Ira Roth
