I’ve had the halibut fish and chips at the Scarborough location and it’s been delicious. At this Pickering location, unfortunately it was dry and had no taste. I was told by the staff halibut is a dryer fish, which isn’t true, you just need to know HOW to cook it (also doesn’t explain the lack of taste). That said, Sophia and Sandra, the servers, were lovely! Not sure why the manager didn’t come speak to me themselves instead of sending Sandra, I don’t bite!
Super fish and chips! We had it for Good Friday take out. Bit of a wait but it was worth it! Chips are worth a special mention, nice and chunky. On quieter days it's a busy, lovely place to have a meal.
The food quality is low. No hand cut fries. A lot of greasy butter on one piece halibut
Sandra’s service and friendliness is the best. I go out of my way to dine at this location.
