We get take-out from here sometimes when it's special days for haddock. I don't personally mind the Halibut House franchise, but I do find the fries can be dry and cardboard-like tasting, even less desirable when they give too many of them when they don't taste that great. The fish is fried nicely though. Also, you can tell when fresh oil has been used vs non-fresh oil that's been overused. Most of the time though it has been fresh. Overall, average fish and chips quality certainly not the best but not the worst.
