My mother and her friend were in today for lunch. They hit this spot every few weeks and are almost regulars. Generally love the food, however today was a terrible experience. They paid for regular plates when they were clearly in for lunch. When they spoke up about the bill, the waiter guy was not particularly nice about it and dished attitude and said “well you didn’t specify you were here for lunch so you didn’t get the lunch special”, it was 1pm? My husband and I try to go once a weekend for their breakfast. I could live on their hollandaise sauce. My son has tried their fish tacos and their halibut special. He enjoyed them. Also, they have a great selection of Cheesecake Factory slices. Yes, we sometimes indulge after breakfast! Yummy!
The food was delicious!! I was genuinely impressed by the quality of the fish and chips in ottawa!! The place is the Orleans version of Hobson's fish and chips in London ☺️ excellent service as well! Highly recommend!
I know the restaurant located in Blackburn is uniquely positioned at this point in time to do very well if it continues with the level of food quality and service it currently provides. There was ample parking and this place was not crowded on a beautiful Sunday evening in early April 2025. Apparently, some very nice Cambodian people are compently running this seafood restaurant.
