We went to Halibut House Restaurant as a group of 14. It wasn’t too busy, and the server welcomed us warmly and arranged a two-row table for us. She asked about drinks and how we would like to pay. We explained that we would be paying in four separate bills and ordering drinks with food to make billing easier, and she was very understanding and accommodating. So delicious. Large portions and the fries are awesome. Was my mom's favorite place and continues as a traditional visit for my family.
Breakfasts are good but they no longer offer rye bread as an option. The bread is cheap Wonder bread style of bread. Tasteless. They dropped the winter breakfast special which is a shame. The cost was $7 but coffee is an additional $2.50. I have recently owned a restaurant and know the food cost is $2 without the coffee. That is less than 30% food cost which is very good. They were still making money even on the specials.
