If I could I would put a zero for stars. My mom was ripped off by this company. They assigned her lawyer who she never saw or spoke to even after making an appointment. They took her money and started the process, they found out that my father had divorced her already, without her knowledge. She was left with nothing. They refused to give her any credit back, they did nothing or anything they promised to do. They stole from an elderly woman who was left homeless. They should feel so proud. My daughter hired the firm to assist with her divorce and custody case. They fought hard for what she and my granddaughter deserve! The staff was very helpful and would recommend them to anyone looking for family let assistance.
Won my custody case. All my calls were returned promptly and staff was friendly. I highly recommend half price lawyers.
I met with an attorney, free, explained my position, paid the very reasonable fee, and left. My next meeting was with the paralegal, documents were prepared, printed, signed, and sent to the co-petitioner. A small change to the pleadings was required. It was handled expeditiously, and the papers were filed. No one should ever work for free, so I find the policy of getting paid before working on the case to be acceptable. This law firm took my money and then took MONTHS to begin working on my case. They said they would give me a consultation for $100 down but changed their story when I got there and I had to pay in full before they would even start my case. They also lied to me about how much I would get as a settlement. When I called the office everybody brushed me off telling me I needed to talk to somebody else and I recently found out they even breached their fiduciary duties of client confidentiality!!!
