More of a thank you and goodbye than a review, since the store is closing. Spent many hours in here, with happy memories and wonderful finds. Staff is incredible, helpful, and friendly. I encourage everyone to try their other Austin locations and the Round Rock location. Thank you Parmer Lane team for an awesome experience!

So sad to see this location close! And it's a bad look for the company that most of the staff aren't being offered positions at other locations. Very disappointing.
Closing? TOO BAD! The people who work there are SO self-entitled! I used to love going to half price books. Especially the one just north of the UT campus. But this Parmer location: no way. Every time I went there, the workers act like they're super PhD professors and I'm lucky to be in their presence. They do admin work at the register as I am trying to get them to charge me.
