I went there 2x. Neither time were they able to get my ac going. The 2nf time the expansion valve was to be replaced or rebuilt neither of which got done yet I was still charged. He didn't have one that would fit my car so instead of ordering he try to clean it because he couldn't get the screw out to rebuild it. Houston is a nice guy and I may just be the one in however many that was charged and never got fixed. Was 103 today and still no ac 😡

Great Mom and Pop type of service . Took my Mountaineer in for a\c service. I told Houston exactly what was the issue and he found the leak. Parts had to be ordered,dropped my car off on Friday and picked it up on Saturday. No type of unnecessary repairs were quoted before the work could begin. That's the way I like honest car repair places to operate. As a bonus they have a small salvage yard in the back. I was able to score a few parts for my Ranger.

So far today has been my third experience with business. They are short handed and completely backed up in work as it has seemed to be this way each time I go there. I've found the reason for this to be is that Houston the Mechanic/Owner of this shop really knows what he is doing. Most customers that come there like myself are repeats because of the skill he displays in his work and his honesty to fix only that which is needed and without any extras that are not. This is the best place for your car ac repAir. My Gl 450 ac wAs broke, took to 10 diff places, every one suggested to take to benz showroom. Mind bogging quote received from showroom. I would like to give a try, initially I was skeptical. They did the service for 1/3rd price of showroom and other European car shops. Very thorough and communicative. I recommend them highly.

Awesome customer service. The cost to fix my truck was way lower than every other auto repair shop I received quotes from. I highly recommend Half Off Auto Repair and AC!
