fun people, kayaks are good, harbor is nice.
Extremely rude staff. All of the picnic tables were empty but instead of calmly explaining that the area isn’t public, someone shouted from about 10 meters away that I “needed a reservation.” No attempt at a normal, respectful explanation. If the issue was payment, I would have happily paid whatever fee was required—but they didn’t even try to communicate like a human being. Very disappointing experience.
Kind, local, lovely ambiance, dog-friendly
Very well done, and so much to see! They make sure you have everything you need to keep your body and items warm and secure. The overview of the area and tricks on technique end up very helpful out on the water, and the variety of places to explore and wildlife to see are numerous. Great for absolutely every age, and this crew is doing great work!
