Sooo delicious! We were visiting with friends near Albion. Rather than dirty up kitchen, we all decided to go out to eat. For years after camping near by. We pass Half Acre Cafe. We decided it was time to stop. It was busy & we walked right in for a booth that was open. We were greeted by our waitress & coffee/Diet Coke was ordered. Always busy = good value
The food is good but the wait staff is unbelievably rude. There's a sign when you walk in the door says please wait to be seated. The bar is directly in front of that. You can walk in and stand there for several minutes waiting to be seated with nobody in front of you. The wait staff will be at the bar rolling silverware. They look at you and then they ignore you. Then when you decide to seat yourself they look at you. Like what the hell are you doing? Wait staff is beyond rude. Food is good. Staff is terrible!
